Krystal was born and raised in a small town of Port Perry, Ontario and currently resides outside of Belleville, Ontario with her family. She lived in London, Ontario for 4 years, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science from Western University. Following her time in London, she relocated to Edmonton, Alberta to begin a career in health insurance. She has also spent over 10 years working in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings and has had the opportunity to work as a case manager for international insurance providers. Her extensive work in multiple areas of healthcare has allowed her to bring a vast pharmaceutical and medical knowledge to the DCAC team. Krystal began her career at DCAC as a case manager, then progressed to writing reconsideration submission and developing client files in preparation for their Social Security Tribunal hearings. Her experience and growth with DCAC have led to her role as the Chief Operating Officer. Krystal truly enjoys her work with DCAC and helping to assist those in need.
